After a career in the private sector, Pam Lombardi joined the Career Services staff at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she was able to draw on her human resources background and prior experience hiring lawyers to counsel law students. She rose to director of the office and served two terms as the law placement association of Cleveland president.

She joined The Ohio State University in 1990 as Director of Career Services. She introduced computerized bidding and scheduling to the interviewing process, initiated a practice interviewing program, wrote, edited, and secured vendor funding for two career handbooks.

She coordinated a nomination process that secured Columbus Bar Association the National Association for Law Placement's Mark of Distinction Award.

In 1995, Pam was promoted to Assistant Dean for Alumni Relations, a post she held until August, 2005. She was the recipient of a University-wide award for innovative programming in support of placement activities in 2002.

Linda Jones joined Career Services with over 15 years of experience in the recruitment and professional development of law students and attorneys. Before moving to Ohio, she was the Director of Legal Personnel for the New York law firms Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and Lord Day & Lord, Barrett Smith where her responsibilities included hiring summer and permanent associates, managing summer programs and associate assignments and evaluations. She also managed her firms' Continuing Legal Education Programs.

Linda has written or spoken for The American Bar Association, The National Law Journal and the National Association of Law Placement. Since coming to Columbus, Linda has been involved in community service, serving as president of the Goodwill Columbus Service Board and of Beaux Arts at the Columbus Museum of Art.

Cybele Smith currently focuses on advising students who are interested in public interest and government sector jobs, honors programs, and fellowships. She coordinates the judicial clerkship application process and serves as the LRAP Coordinator.

As an undergraduate, Cybele had the opportunity to work in the OSU Athletic Department as a Student Assistant to Archie Griffin. During law school, she worked full-time for the State of Ohio at the Rehabilitation Services Commission and later at the Ohio Civil Rights Commission as an investigator. While at Capital University Law School, Cybele was involved in several organizations, serving as vice magister of Phi Delta Phi, executive board member of the Student Bar Association, and as a peer advisor for three years.

Upon earning her law degree, Cybele became the Membership Director at the Columbus Bar Association. She has presented at the NALP annual conference and public service Mini-Conferences, and has done book reviews for the NALP publication committee. In 2006 she was the NALP Workgroup Leader planning the NALP/PSLawNet Mini-Conference in Washington, D.C. She recently held the position of Vice Chair for Conference Planning for the 2008 NALP Educational Conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in Spring 2008. Cybele was elected to serve as a NALP Nominating Commitee Member for the Midwest Region during 2008-09.

Cybele completed a three-year term on the University Staff Advisory Committee, and a two-year appointment to the university Government Relations Committee. She serves as a hearing panel volunteer for Ohio State's Office of Judicial Affairs.

After graduating from our law school, Trish Tweel practiced for 15 years with a local law firm. She has also taught college writing courses. For many years she has been active in a variety of community organizations. For the past four years, Trish has served as a volunteer guardian ad litem in the Franklin County Juvenile Court through the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

Cheri Wiles graduated from the Moritz College of Law in 1994 and began her career as an attorney for the law firm of Fisher & Phillips in Atlanta, Georgia, advising corporate clients on labor and employment issues. From there, she worked at The Court Television Network (CourtTV) in New York as a booker identifying and interviewing participants in legal disputes of national interest.

Cheri entered the sports industry in 2001, serving as the director of community outreach with the San Diego Super Bowl Host Committee, the committee charged with coordinating the planning of Super Bowl XXXVII. In that capacity, she worked with the NFL to implement League outreach initiatives and to sanction community events.

Cheri joined the Columbus Blue Jackets organization as a client services manager in 2003 and served in that capacity for three years before assuming the position of director of partnership marketing. As director, Wiles led a team responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing of the team’s corporate partners and played an instrumental role in the execution of all aspects of partner activation programs.

Prior to joining Career Services, Ebony worked as an Office Associate to the faculty here at Moritz while obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication.

In 1999, Ebony began working at the University in the Office of Minority Affairs where she served as Data Coordinator and Summer Program Assistant for the Young Scholars Program.

Ebony was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, and enjoys writing and creative marketing consulting in her spare time.

Tara serves as the Human Resource Manager for the Moritz College of Law. In addition, she coordinates the College of Law Work Study Program. In this position she communicates policies, federal guidelines, and university requirements to off campus employers and students participating in the program. Tara has been an employee of Moritz since 1994 and working in HR and fiscal areas at The Ohio State University since 1980.

Kelly is a Masters of Art Candidate at The Ohio State University in the School Psychology program. She received a Masters of Art in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Heidelberg College. She came to Moritz directly from the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office at OSU where she spent the 2007-08 academic year as a Career Advising Intern. In addition, her experiences include presenting job-search related workshops, conducting mock interviews, and providing direct, face-to-face feedback to individuals in a variety of settings.
